China Weighing Instrument Association held the Advanced Research Class on Internet based Weighing Instrument Industry Development in Ningbo

From November 6 to 7, 2017, the seminar on Internet based weighing instrument industry development and the second meeting of the Fifth National Technical Committee on Weighing Instrument Standardization was held in Ningbo by China Weighing Instrument Association. More than 50 associations attended the meeting.

Gao Shaohe, Vice Chairman of the Weighing Instrument Standardization Committee, Lu Xinguang and other leaders addressed the meeting and celebrated the convening of the second meeting of the fifth session of the National Weighing Instrument Standardization Committee and the opening of the advanced research class. Fan Shaochen, Vice Chairman, made a summary report on the work of China Weighing Apparatus Association in 2017, reviewed the work plan for 2018, and thanked all members for their efforts. The meeting reported the work during the revision process of standards such as General Technical Specifications for Automatic Weighing Apparatus for Dynamic Road Vehicles, Automatic Weighing Apparatus for Dynamic Road Vehicles - Axle Load Type, Automatic Weighing Apparatus for Dynamic Road Vehicles - Whole Vehicle Type, and the approval of standards to be applied for, such as Electronic Weighing Instrument, Electronic Platform Scale, Gravity Automatic Batching Scale, Static Electronic Weighing Scale, and Body Scale, It also introduces the Group Standard Management Measures of the China Light Industry Federation.

Qi Rudong, secretary-general of the Weighing Instrument Standardization Committee, presided over the study of the advanced research class, and invited Dong Deyang, assistant vice president of Softcom Power, Chen Rixin, senior consultant of China Weighing Instrument Association, and Bao Shudi, vice president of the School of Telecommunications of Ningbo Institute of Engineering, to give lectures on Cloud Computing Technology Trends and Applications, Industrial Internet and Weighing Instrument Technology Development, and Big Data Applications and Security respectively.

On the 7th, the Standardization Committee organized a forum for exchange. Gao Shaohe, General Manager of Jinzhong, Jinan, Song Kuiyun, General Manager of Hengke, Zhengzhou, and He Fusheng, Deputy Chief Engineer of Thermo Electric were invited to attend the discussion.

Later, all members went to Keli to visit the Phase VIII laboratory and high-end production line, museum, big data center and Ningbo Industrial Internet of Things Industrial Park, and authorized Keli to establish the "Ningbo Training Base for Weighing Internet of Things of China Weighing Association" at the forum of Keli Internet of Things College.

After the ceremony, Ke Jiandong, vice president and president of China Weighing Instrument Association, gave a speech entitled "The Practice of the Internet of Things for Weighing in Keli", and explained to the members of the Standardization Committee the changes in the business model of the weighing instrument industry and the definition of weighing instrument in the era of big data, and proposed that China's weighing instrument should move from a single data to an ecosystem to big data, The equipment should become the future development idea of the data provider from the hardware leading to the combination of software and hardware.
